Dawid Misiorny was kind enough to send me a copy of his new book WYSIWYG. Beautifully printed and featuring a thoughtful selection of Dawid’s recent photographs (along with an interview conducted by writer Piotr Drewko), WYSIWYG offers a singular mix of strange architecture, intimate portraits, animated street shots, and beautiful landscapes. Particularly striking throughout is Dawid’s approach to framing/cropping, as he consistently achieves results that approach abstraction while retaining an identifiable subject.
